I'm an attractive and intelligent female. So I try to blow it off and say "Their loss!" when guys are idiots and play games or don't call when they say they're going to (after seeming SO interested!) .
But the truth of the matter is I have a harder time doing that than I'd like to admit. And as I mentioned before, I don't really have time to blog right now, but here's the SHORT version:
- Met this guy who I had a whole lot of ridiculous and silly things in common with.
- We had a great time together - lots of fun throughout the evening followed by pretty good sex. (yeah I'm not really the one-night-stand type, but it just kind of happened.)
- I thought it was stupid for me to sleep with him and assumed I'd never hear from him again
- Then he started texting me on Tuesday "just to say hi".
- Didn't hear from again until last night (Friday) when I broke down and texted him with "Hey :) "
- He texted me back immediately and said hey and in the end he asked me what I was doing tomorrow (which would be today.)
- I replied that I work but not too late, and basically haven't heard anything from him since!!!

FWIW, guys are much more comfortable with "loose" arrangements that women consider common courtesy or simple calendar coordination. I say you go out, maybe with some gal pals, and text HIM "Out with my crazy girls. Having a blast. Wish you were here!" Just don't tell him where you are. He'll either high-tail it to you, or you'll know he's just not tht into you--and/or a jerk with no manners.
